Oh sorry Giga, I didn't mean you in particular. Meant all of Guru as a community. Sorry, it did look like I was pointing you out. Didn't mean it that way.

P.S. those "kiddie" games for the Wii actually sell very well, because they are fun, it doesnt need gore, blood etc to be fun...Guild Wars doesn't have blood OR gore, but yet, you still play that.
My boyfriend got Brawl when it came out, and I don't see anything childish about it, your goal is to KO your oppnent, whats childish about that?
Not really...they may have the same Final Smash, but while their moves may be similar, they are different, which means, we didnt get three Fox clones.
Oh, and, has anyone been able to do Wifi matches yet? Whenever I try to do it, I can't locate anyone, I guessed their servers aren't up yet? I dunno.

i loved no more heroes. one of my favorite games ever. too bad it sold pretty poorly in japan(not sure bout us).
bout ur statement about wolf, fox, falco. are u one of those that says ryu and ken are so different that u would be able to handle a game full of characters with such "differences" in that case, ill take back wut i said and that the fox characters are simply too similar and uninspired then.

Olimar, if you pepper an enemy with like 4 or 5 pikmen, they are gonezo. Also, his smash moves have huge range because they consist of sending out a pikmen as the attack. And his FINAL SMASH is a huge percent unblockable with the final hit being basically a kill.
At least, that what seems so good about him to me.

Game is awesome, I played for 9 hours Sunday, 6 Monday, 4 today.
I won't say anything else, for those who don't know all the details and don't want spoilers.

no more heroes sold really poorly. 130,000 in America and 40,000 in Japan. Probably enough that they made their money back, or most of it, but not enough for a sequel.

Sonic plays fairly well, his final smash is awesome! but really hard to control. He's pretty quick on his feet and with attacks, but his rolling has sent me over the edge once or twice. I still prefer link (until I unlock toon link, at least.)
Edit: Finished SSE, now have all characters except Wolf unlocked. Tired and going to sleep

Snake is ftw. I don't own the game but some of my coworkers ( who are QA testers - AKA hardcore as you can get ) bring it to play on our only retail wii during breaks. So Ive yet to play snake against the computer AI and don't really care anyways.
But against real people he's a hilarious mindgame. Played right he seem's like a loose cannon but in reality you know perfectly well what you are doing. Lots of evil stuff can be done, like planting a C4/mine on an edge or faking people out with the nikita by having it fly in front of you in a circle. The thing to remember with nikita is that it works EXACTLY like the nikita from MGS. Meaning it slows down for a few seconds while turning but then launches off. This means the fakeout trick from MGS where you have it turn left/right to make it go slower works in brawl. lol.
Ive also noticed that he seems to have the "best weight for the best speed". Meaning that out of all the heavyweight characters he is the fastest but by no means even close to the fastest in the game.

Snake is definitely a interesting character. My friend can play him very well, and it's really annoying when you step on a C4( Down + B) or a mine (Down + A), even though you KNEW it was there.
Either way, he's a hilarious character.

Snake seems pretty strong, but his forward b leaves you extremely vulnerable.
Toon link is quickly becoming my favorite character.

I haven't gotten this game yet, but i've played melee before.
2 words.
BALANCE ALERT!
I'm serious, about 1/4 of the vids on youtube have a marth, spamming charged attack on a poor person. It gets REALLY annoying. I'm gonna have to keep Q_Qin

Metaknight is super sweet, fast attacks! Ike is great to, his up b attack is sweet. i must say they downgraded marth , he use to have that nice spamable charge attack. Its still that but he thrusts forward and no as a slash. Overall I like it, but in in SSE in the subspace parts, yea and its going SLOW as heck ...
Zero suit samus is terrible as well IMHO, regular Samus all the way!

Started learning Olimar He's hella fun..
If anyone wants to play over the weekend, PM me and we'll try to get a game up. Only thing is I have a really crap connection for this weekend. If there's someone else with a good connection it seems to play fine. It really lags with a couple of bad connections..
